The new rammer

Check it out, finally finished up my new bumper. Built it on a barrel in our laydown when i got off work early. quarter inch plate throughout, with 3/8 wall pipe for the grill guard. two grinders, an arc welder and a torch to make the tow hooks and bend the steel around the uprights. and like 80 hours. im a mechanic not a welder, so there was some pretty serious grinding. I also used it as a chance to mount a bypass filter setup i made with the hose press at work.

Let me know what you think. yes i know its getting a little redneck

Wow, looks neat, I just cant imagine how heavy it must be. I would think it would be detrimental to front end parts

weighed the truck on the way home last shift and it was 2400 on the front and 1900 on the rear when i was running empty.

i dont know. I think its a production bumper. If its home made - its a really good job.

I traded my stocker for it when I was in montana

Ya thats a bit of a nuisance. Id offer some advice on lights, but the ones i got are waaaay to expensive. Very similiar to a cat hid light, and it makes it like daylight. eyes have to adjust when you have to turn em off.

Mr Evil, how come you garage isn't full of truck parts, engines and turbos. Nice garage buddy, abit to clean for me.

Nice bumpers guys. I'm just running the stock stuff, reason, I'm a cheap skate. If I hit a moose and had $9k, damage, I'll take the money and run. My truck isn't worth that much to start with.
