I havent played halo 2, but my friend back at school plays it on x box live. Everytime I talk to him he is playing it over the internet. If you do play it on x box live, get a headset so you can talk trash to the other people online. 
Halo was by far the best video game I have played...especially when you system link the x box's and have 16 people on one game. I sure do miss those college days when we played x box all day instead of going to class. The real world sucks once you get out of school.

I just turned 36 and my parents bought me an Xbox for christmas
My dad is 55 and he is a bigtime gamer. Has 4 computers in his den devoted to games. He gets upset when he gets a new game and it crashes his computer. He has top of the line equiptment and the comp still cant keep up with the graphics on some games. I guess I'm just not into the games.

I was racing on the "box" with the two grandkids on Christmas day. They couldn't believe that I could whip their butt and didn't even know where the controls were or what button to push. It was devisating to them, yet they really got a kick out of it. Don't count Grandy out yet. YEH.

I wouldn't buy Halo for my computer if you had a gun to my head. It was in development for the PC for years, and then after hyping the heck out of it Microsoft bought it and released it only for the XBox. As an afterthought they released it to Windows. Now that REALLY peeves me.

never played it [or anything on xbox] but it looks cool... i've already too much $$$ tied up in gaming stuff: original nes, snes, n64, gamecube, gameboy, ps, ps2... to even think about buying an xbox
and i find i am playing snes most often... just replayed super metroid over my days off and it is so fun, but graphics don't even come close to comparing with what is out there in the new systems [i've got metroid for GC but haven't played it much, i find the control is to weird on it...]
