I think it looks better like that. Personaly I dont like the turnouts. They look better going straight up when smoke is curling out. ;D

Re:got some stacks!!

That looks sweet. How much is that setup? Are you gonna do or you gonna have someone do it? Let me know how hard it is if you do it. Nice Rig. 8)

Re:got some stacks!!

thanks, but no, the stacks are not gonna go in, instead, I cut 1 in 2 and am doing a duel exhaust out behind the rear tires, and the other stack is going on pulling tractor. I will get pix after done. The truck is going in to the paint shop tomorrow and will be M.I.A. for a week or so. :'( :'( then straight to the decal shop! ;D

If I did stacks, that's exactly how they would look.

Re:got some stacks!!

well, I dueled it out tonight after work, brought it out behind the back wheels , droped them down at an angle but with a straight cut, I like it and It sounds awsome, but my brother in law{who is a chevy man all the way!} says they look like they are falling down, I will post some pix tommorow and see what you guys think. The color of the truck will stay the same- gray butI de-badged the whole truck and am going to go with an electric blue and chrome decals. trust me, It will look sweet! I already have the decal that I designed myself in the back window the same color and got the windows tinted. Its all starting to finally come together! when I get it finished I will put up some before and after pix!

and here is one of the decal: it looks like it is green, but it is a deep blue, with a chrome outline- the picture was taken in the sun.

Re:got some stacks!!

I like it. Even though its not stacks, they look really cool. I agree. The smoke will look great, just have to wash the bumper more often.<br>Cool decal.

Re:got some stacks!!

heres one more shot of the exhaust from the drivers side, I think from the way I made this system, I made it a t-pipe instead of a y pipe, It is mufflering in the t and comming out quieter then it was when single, I realy miss the sound of the single, but like the looks of the duels- especially now that the truck is gone for a while!!!!!!! :'( :'(

Re:got some stacks!!

I like the look! My advice on stacks is to run them as tall as wil fit in your garage. That sweet sound gets stale after about 300 miles of highway. From my experience with my 70 D-100 340 4.10gears. About 8 inches above roofline. Should have had another foot at least. But it sounded great in town. ;D
