So now a state senator is passed a bill through committee (100% aye BTW) that will make it illegal for us 'normal' people to transport used kitchen grease. Do you have a $2,000,000 environmental insurance coverage? If you do, then you can apply (with a fee) for a permit to transport used oil.

I never understood people who thought that would work.

Exactly, my other car is a 2003 VW TDI. I am a all diesel family, Except for the lawn mower. I make biodiesel at a cost of about $1.00 a gallon and use it in the car.

Now we will be secertly taking it home in 32oz big gulp cups making like it is a drink.
Now the restraunt owner will have to pay to have it removed and I am sure they will keep a closer watch on their waste tanks and make them have a plackard in place. How is WVO an enviromental hazard? I could see the food maybe.

I am glad I am not NORMAL.. I would still do it.

Fuel efficient coffins
I will never buy a small vehicle unless there is nothing else because both of my trucks I feel have saved my life in all of my accidents. In 1999 I was rear ended by a drunk driver in a full size 1/2 ton chevy pickup on St Patricks Day. He was going 55 MPH and I was at a dead stop, I was driving a 1 ton chevy at the time and it was loaded, weighed over 10,000 lb. It stopped him in 3 feet. I was still injured but I survived, put my head through the back window and fractured my back. That is how I got my Dodge.
Then last year I was on the I10 freeway and I was stopped in the # 1 lane when I rear ended by 2 nissan trucks both going 55 MPH. Totaled both of theirs and minimal damage to mine, just alot of anoying arguing with the insurance companies.
I will pay the price for the fuel and whine about the price but Me and my family will be alive to whine.
Jim.
