Going up again.

I had to get fuel today and from the time I had gone past the station last night at midnight it was $2.43/ gallon and when I came home at 6:30 A.M. it was $2.59/ gallon.. Wow it went up .16 cents in less than 6 hours. I found some for $2.49/ gallon and gee I was happy so I spent almost $60.00

Hey have any of you got a chance to read this article?
It looks like THEY are getting us ready for "something really big"

Yeah, between the cost of groceries and fuel to go get them you need a truck to carry enough cash at one time to afford to eat or drive. Here in WA state, not only do prices jump in a matter of hours but this week we get to add 3 more cents a gallon as the first part of a 9.5 cent tax increase this is on top of whatever the oil companies want.

Unhappy Diesel prices on the rise?

The Pittsburgh local news is forcasting $3.00 a gallon soon.
Blaming it on the record high demand for diesel. That will do a number on the economy!
We are currently at $2.49 a gallon.

Actually, I talked to my Brother-in-law who just let's say is qualified to comment on these issues. The record demand for diesel means that there is more trucking going on more construction etc. This means that the economy is actually doing well. Trust me I want lower diesel prices as much as if not more than anyone, but you can't always believe the media hype or the liberals that the economy is bad. Bro in law says that the economy is actually much stronger than most people realize. I noticed a lot more truck traffic on a recent weekend trip than usuall for a weekend.

I bet you that when I get my invention perfected and I get my truck to run on #2 Bio-DIRT, the government will find a way to tax it and I will be forced to sneek out at night and dig it up from my neighbors yard.
They might have a monthly alotment of holes you can dig.
No matter what you do, they want a cut from it.

EXACTLY

that is the way i look at it, im at a club or bar.. One budweiser.. Ok sir thats 2.75.. Hmm 2.75, ok diesel is 2.30 a gallon, so i can go about 22-25 miles on what a beer costs me.. Is the buzz really worth it? 6 beers after tips are 18 dollars, that is 8.5 or so gallons of diesel and 150 plus miles... again i say... think before i drink....
