Going camping!
Re:Going camping!
Cool. I hate to see people leave their animals in kennels and go away without them. Mine are just like kids, ready to go at a drop of the hat.
I'd like to see that dog in about a year or so. That is going to be a horse if he grows into all those parts.

I know. I took him to the vet yesterday to get his rabies, and heartworm meds. They put him on the scale. Get this. At 16 weeks, he was 40 pounds. He's also VERY strong. I will have to make sure he's well trained because with his size, he could be dangerous. I'm not worried about that though, I have a good trainer and he's been doing it for a LONG time. I don't go on trips without my dog
Re:Going camping!
WOW. You're exactly right about one thing, he will have to be trained well. A dog that size uncontrolled is dangerous if he wants to be. My Rotties are 107 and 87 pounds and are a hand full when they want to be. The one I put to sleep several months ago (that was a bad day) was 124 the last time I weighed her but she was a big baby. She had 25 ribbons before she was two years old. She is the one in my photo album wearing the pink sweater.

I grew up with Shepards and that is my second favorite over Rotties. Enjoy him every day and you will never regret it. They never give up loving you and are better than a lot of people will be to you.

Usually you have to worry about hitting the "exhaust" from one of those amish buggies
Did plenty of that! There was lots of exhaust to go around
Did you give em any smoke?

Actually, we have quite a population as well. Sometimes I get a look like they'ed love to swap the horse for the flat bed, especially when I have a stack of logs and the chainsaws in the back.
