getting old ain't for sissies....

always used to hear older guys complaining "this hurts, that aches, yadda yadda..."

well, lemme tell ya... i think i climbed over the fence, and the grass ain't greener over here...

got my truck stuck and REALLY hurt my lower back 2 weeks ago.
sore about a week - then healed Ok. remember when younger - got better real quick.

then today, jumped off my trailer holding a box (going to help a buddy) and hurt the same muscle - my GOODNESS - it hurts worse now than it did the first time

Oh just wait till the artharitis kicks in.
Then you start getting all the other ailments, cholesterol, high blood pressure, ulcers. Man, at this rate, 40 is gonna kill me....

gitting old

You're a bunch of sissies!!! It sure beats the alternative. If you are a hurting then you know that you are alive! It sure beats lying in a bed not feeling or knowing anything, so suck it up. Besides, I am only 53, 3 knee ops, bad back, shoulder, and wrist, arthritus; but I am a whole lot better off than some others. Am glad to be alive! Driving the truck is the easy part, still do the horseback riding, elk hunting, and everything else work hours will allow me to do. Not complaining, nor bragging, just rejoicing.https://www.dieseltruckresource.com/...coffeetime.gif

Nah....All my problems (all of the above) started way before I was 40 and I'm still going strong.........just not as fast, as far or as often.

Thumbs up On the green side

It's still better to be on the green side of the grass than the alternative .

Even with a few aches and pains.

Pain lets you know you are still alive. When you cannot feel pain, you know you are close.

I'm 65 and learned no matter how much you complain, it just don't do an ounce of good. Just remember it's better to be going down the hill than under it.

i dunno. i asked the wife to take me to the Vet this morning & put me out of my misery.

looks like i wrenched my lower back real back, took 2 muscle relaxers, that makes for a nice Prince Valium Nap.

wife said i moaned & groaned in my sleep, elbowed her in the nose.
hurts to ever roll over. no real rest. wore out tired.

had hard time getting out of the sack this morning.
seems like i just do too much.

here's one from me you guys can quote:
"a man with a truck and a trailer is never without friends"
