Gearing question.

Fellas' I need to find out what the actual axle rpm will be at the wheel for 2:23 gearing as well as 3:55 gearing at say 2000 rpm, for example. The only charts I've found give vehicle speed at a given rpm.

Thanks.

The answer is going to depend on your transmission ratio as well, but assuming a direct drive or 1:1 ratio on the tranny, I think the formula you are looking for is RPM/tranny ratio/axle ratio

2000/1/2.23=896.86 RPM
2000/1/3.55=563.38 RPM

Thanks, that helps. Did you just do the figuring, or is there a link to a chart somewhere?
