Re:another gearing question
the full 4 doors is one thing i want it was what i wanted when i ordered the 02 but the 2500 for 02 was only available in a quad cab
i had just bought a tt and could not wait till the 03 came out because i had nothing heavy enough to pull the tt
Re:another gearing question
I'm part of the 6 speed group b/c I've had enough of the F(&*$%^@*$N Dodge automatics. But from what I have heard and from one member who bought the SO/47RE/3.73's (he traded in for a HO/48RE/4.10 at about 3K miles) I would go with the 4.10. I have come to the conclusion when I order, in August for an early(pre-EGR) 04, I might end up with the 4.10's even with the 6-shooter. I do some pulling with a GN triple axle flatbed and do sometimes pull 2 cars on it. That would put my GCWR about 24K.

And, at low "trail" speeds the auto makes the truck seem to be geared even lower due to slip.

Best to y'all
Bill
