ROFLMAO No, I didn't see PowerStoke anywhere.

It'll be Thursday, but I'll try to rig 110 to the "new" valve.

I'll get the model # to you when I get home.

I was thinking about the 110 and had a thought (rare). The electrical plug on the door water is the same wire that feeds as the ice maker, so it should be getting 110. Sure makes me think the new valve is bad.

No offense intended, but did you turn the water back on to the fridge when you replaced the valve? If the ice maker is cycling, seems to me the only issue is water supply. Recheck your connections on the the new valve. Buy ice trays??

You sound like my wife!

Yep, I turned it back on. The door water works, and there is only one feed line from the only turn off. Ice trays.......may be in the future.

When you get the arm to cycle look at the coil voltage on the water valve. This will tell you that is inside or outside the fridge. The valve may have 110 in the cycle which will point to the new valve. My guess is that the new or old valve is not seeing 120.

So i am having problems with mine too. The supply line going into the freezer had come out and has ruined my kitchen wall.
I found the water tube inside frozen so i defrosted it with a heat gun and it worked for about 3 loads of ice and froze back up and the supply line came out again. I can't shut off the feed because some tard installed it without a shut off valve. Wasn't me.
so why does my line inside keep freezing up? Too cold?
i can hear the solenoid cycle and water flood my kitchen.

1. Your fill valve is weeping

2. You have a WPL/KA side by side less than 5yrs old that needs a heater kit installed on the ceiling of the Freezer.

New number...

WR57X10033 $31.15

You can use Whirlpool part # 4318047 in a pinch.

Monogram, eh?

Subzero myself.

I'm sure someone would be closer but...they do ship

It should...

The problem is the fill valve isn't closing quite all the way and water weeps passed it and freezes in the fill tube. Very common issue.
