record video
rewind
plug camcorder into computer via firewire/usb
with menu pops up, click make video using windows movie maker
read thru options and keep clicking next
then it will capture from the camcorder, just follow directions on the screen
then save file
then upload to youtube or such...

There are few more steps than just " Plug and Play". You have to make sure the Camcorder drivers are installed on your PC. Assuming those are. You need a video program to upload the video. Once the video is uploaded into a video editing program. You will need to turn the video into a suitable file for playback on the net. Files such as .MOV or .wmv, ect.... Then you will need to either have your own web hosting account to up load to the net. Or use on of the free places like YouTube.com. If you need any help shoot me a PM....

You are just about there Garedan and once you do it a few times it will not be so formidable.Click capture first so you don't miss anything and then click play so moviemaker can capture your video.
Don't worry about blank/black screen etc because you can edit the video after you save it to cut out the bad parts.
It really is not as bad as it seems but you will have to learn a few new things to get it done.
There are free DVD authoring programs that will allow you to make a DVD out of your video that will play in a DVD player so you can watch it on your big screen TV.Don't be intimidated by this, you CAN do it and you are almost there!!This link would be a good place to start for info.Ron G

The DVD camcorder should have came with the driver and software for downloading and creating DVD media. If not go to the vendor's website and see it can be downloaded from there.
