I've always had a little different take on these scams. I figured that most people think they are buying something hot, and that is why it is so cheap. In those cases I figure that the people deserve what they get. I'm not saying all, but a lot.

Sounds like she did not buy it and her new boyfriend never bought it so someone mus have gave em a crappy gift. Imagine she wont be to happy to hear from you again though. Exes are exes for a reason. Just hope they got something decent for the money that was spent.
