Hope who ever stole mine is now missing a few toes.
I get it for $6 at Orshlen's. But yeah. I ran some mixed regular gas with a stabilizer in it through yesterday and it still ran better than before the canned fuel. May just run every third or fourth tank canned. All we have at the pump here is 87 ethanol, or 87 non-ethanol for about 50 cents more.

We have non-ethanol here but it's 50 or 60 cents more a gallon.
I'm using a stabilizer in a can of ethanol gas so I'll see how it works.
Was able to get another chain today. Only Oregon .063 chain the hardware has is stamped with a "26", that's like pulling a stick of butter out of the fridge and trying to cut a log with it. The Stihl dealer had the right safety chain, but they had every good chain EXCEPT the one I needed, so another safety chain it is.

My buddy is a small engine mechanic. He says dump a few ounces of isopropyl alcohol into ethanol fuel to help it not cause problems....so far, so good.
99 cents a pint.
I was using Sea Foam.

Anyway, first or second pull on all of them, first use of the season or last.......
As for safety chain.......
I fight with my local people, but they always relent and make me up some full chisel chain....... You would think by now, buying 2 new chains every year for the past 10-12 years they would finally figure out I know full chisel is dangerous if you are an idiot......
We had a Shindaiwa weed-eater, it was a pretty good machine. Nothing like the old JD one my uncle won as an open-house door prize, though. He had it tweaked a little bit. Rated at 6200 RPM but it turned a little faster. Hired help ran it with 50:1 mix and killed it though.
It had a clutch in the drive line. If grass started to wrap around the head you could play with the throttle and it would clear itself. Others would just stall.
