15°, 0° wind chill. Feeding the strays again. Looked out the back door to see one shivering on the porch. Like to broke by big ol heart. We set up the feeding station away from the house behind the shed out of sight for Mr Morris. I ran a couple adds and people are stepping up to help. From donations of cat food to a large dog house I can insulate and heat. My final goal is to catch them and find barn homes for them. Don't think they will ever be socialized.

9°, -3° wind chill. Cold and clear. Ran out of snow to blow so we are down to glazed snowpack and ice. Fun times walking to the mail box. Clear Creek Cat Rescue is coming out today to help me catch some cats. They have some heated shelters/traps they're going to set up. With any luck, all 4 will be headed to the animal shelter tomorrow by noon where they will get medical attention, food, and a warm place to stay.

I think that means he has an ankle bracelet.
13°, 2° wind chill. Temps dropping to below zero at night and low single digits during the day through Monday. Then snow, maybe, Monday night into Wednesday. With this cold of temperatures, the cat capture is off, helping them survive is on.

Retirement consists largely of boredom. Lots of time to do things, but no money to do anything.
18°, currently no wind. Approx. 12" of snow between yesterday afternoon and this morning. More to come over through Monday. Looks like this is the big dump for the year. May have to rent a loader again.

14°, 8° wind chill. The next wave of this storm is supposed to hit by late this afternoon and last through Tuesday now. The wife is going to do he shopping today. Got up to 35¯ yesterday, the snow started turning to slush which is now frozen. No cats yesterday. The shelter named the one we caught Rasinette. Young, healthy, and friendly. They should have no trouble finding here a home.

26°, no wind. Big snow dump last night. Cat tracks all over the deck. Probably looking for more food. Caught a sister to the cat I caught the other day. Same age and color, but this one has long hair and a munchkin. This is the one we were most worried about. Soaking wet and shivering.
