I catch the cigar dave show on the way home from work occasionally and get tempted to pick a couple up. When I DO get into the store that carries the nicer stuff, I have myself talked out of it, pictureing some lung, cross-sections they showed us in school. I guess you can't really count a swisher or king edward to keep the bugs away while fly fishing, since I don't really inhale most of it.
Top shelf in my humi L to R: A. Fuente OpusX (2 Lanceros, #5), A. Fuente Anejos (#49, 2 #50s, #55), Casa Fuente (robusto), A. Fuente Chateau sungrown and natural.
Next are my Padron 1964 Anniversarios, with a 1926 on the end. Also a selection of Davidoffs below.

Daily smokes are Padron thousand series, RP Vintage 1990, Fuente Hemingway (short stories), La Gloria Cubana (Felicas and Series R).

My favorite legal cigar is an A. Fuente Double Chateau Maduro. Can't beat it for the price! Also like the Ashton's La Aroma de Cuba in a Corona. I'll have to find a picture of the humidor my buddy and I built, it's a cabinet lined in Spanish Cedar.

I was just going to ask this. You can by them in the U.S if they were made before '68. Big, Big bucks.
Me and a co-worker were almost ready to take the 1 day tour of Chernobyl and Prypiat in the Ukranine. Cuban cigars are on the shelf at the local store.

It's not very difficult to buy Cubans if you want them. Most UK retailers will ship them to you in packages marked "Travel Guides". Myself I can't justify the high cost, roughly $20 apiece and up. There are many fine legal cigars to be had. Besides most of the cubans I have smoked were so strong I had to put them down before i got sick. You know, the 'ol clammy hands head spins.
hmmmmm i would have to say the elven year old aged jamacian
but im not a regular smoker, only about once a week type thing, also like hondurans and kaluas, since their a little cheaper.

Gloria Cubana Series R is my favorite all around. I keep trying many brands, sizes and sources. My tastes are pretty particular and what I've found is that 7 out of 10 times I prefer the tobacco grown in the Domincan Republic. From anywhere else there's only a 1 in 10 chance I'll like it. Dark wrappers and maduros are where my tastes leas me most of the time.
Thumbs up here too for JR Cigars - fresh products at a great price. Still try to patronize the local shops for the odds and ends, but buy the favorites in quantity from JRs
Been trying several Nat Sherman products lately. A little pricey but mostly good expereinces there.
Oh and forget Cigar Officianado, got two back issues of CIGAR with my last JRs order. Best cigar magazine out there IMHO.
