"Free West". Not the first time I've heard that phrase from my "up North" friends. ;D ;D

Re:Entry into Canada?

You should check into taking fresh meat and vegetables across the border. I know they aren't allowed from Canada to the U.S.

You may want to check and see if the US and Canada are still bickering over food inspection laws. There was restriction going both ways earlier this summer, but they were supposed to sit down and talk about it.

Last I heard, they had decided the tables should be round, and placed in a semi-circular pattern. :

Rod

Mr.45, Hello from Alaska! I live in Wasilla, about 3 1/2 hrs. south of denali. What type of work are you going to do there? Bring a little tool kit, maybe 10 gallons of diesel, and a sense of humor! ..Hope you have a safe trip! And welcome to Alaska!

Re:Entry into Canada?

I can't believe that no one has said this yet. I travel in and out of the country fairly regularly. The worst country I have experienced for pain in the a-- border procedures is the United States. Canada will be no sweat, you are more likely (in my experience) to be inconvienced on the way home.

I am always happy to be home, just less than thrilled at what it takes to get back. Our current state of war is not likely to improve the situation, and probably with some justification.
