Sorry to hear that. Guess it just happens to some people sooner than others.

Boy, that's not likely to cheer him up very much.

Evening gang.

Its a cluster.... bad.
We ended up with 9 welders out of the 10 we needed. Only took 49 tested so far to get em. There is two sets of clients overseeing the project, our side (for the coal company) and KinderMorgans side (the eventual owners of the line). The KM inspectors are going outrageously above and beyond what is the accepted code just to be a bunch of you know whats.... And they are claiming they can cause they will be the final owners. They ran off four of the welders in the last week for minor repairs. We had to have a come to Jesus meeting with the power that be and explained how everything we are doing is acceptable to API codes and is DOT approved, and that if they dont back off this line will never get finished and its gonna cost someone well into the 10's of millions above the contract cost to get it finished.
So, all in all, they let the welders come back (which they shouldnt have been dismissed in the first place) and I still have to test a few more to make the required 12. Tested 4 this morning, three didnt make it past noon. Its bad... real bad.
