From: Thanks Don M!
Got a call for surgery at 8:40 and asked to be at the hospital by 10:00 a.m.
Got a call at 8:55 and told it was canceled due to a technical error on behalf of the surgical bookings dept. I politely told them when I do get called in, I will be stopping in at the surgical booking dept to let them know how pleasant that was. ARGH!!!

I think it's time for us all to put our heads together and start thinking of building a matter/anti-matter engine that could replace the diesel engine.

Blake has LOTS of spare time on his hands, I nominate him to start the process.

OK here it goes...

You know how buttered toast always lands butter side down right....

And a cat always lands on its feet....

What if we were to take and strap a piece of buttered toast to the back of a cat!

Instant anti-gravity rotational machine.

All you need is an output shaft and BOOM!

Infinite source of butter enriched feline power.

*sweeping bow*

Thank You, Thank You

But we don't care for Cat power here at the ultimate Cummins board.

Try again.

No, I'd rather stick to something I am more familiar with. Such as matter/anti-matter. It's really quite simple in theory.

Favorable grades are awarded only for positive results. And I KNOW you're capable of favorable results!

Let ME help get you started;

Matter-antimatter propulsion is the most efficient propulsion ever developed, because 100 percent of the mass of the matter and antimatter is converted into energy. When matter and antimatter collide, the energy released by their annihilation releases about 10 billion times the energy that chemical energy, such as diesel fuel and oxygen combustion releases. Matter-antimatter reactions are also 1,000 times more powerful than the nuclear fission produced in nuclear power plants and 300 times more powerful than nuclear fusion energy. So, matter-antimatter engines have the potential to take us farther with less fuel.

There are three main components to a matter-antimatter engine:

1) Magnetic storage rings - Antimatter must be separated from normal matter so storage rings with magnetic fields can move the antimatter around the ring until it is needed to create energy.
2) Feed system - When the truck needs more power, the antimatter will be released to collide with a target of matter, which releases energy.
3) Magnetic nozzle thruster - Basically a particle collider, a long magnetic nozzle will move the energy created by the matter-antimatter through a thruster, moving the truck forward.

With me so far?
