DTR's finest Breakroom 5.2.10-5.8.10
other end of the spectrum. cold, nasty, water activity today but all went well, boat ran fine for 2 year old stored gas. all this for a volunteer. sheesh.
nasty weather, 62 mph gust! so eight hour trip, nothing else done with the boat. oh, i am out about a thousand bucks for two friggin' rubber hose/bellows that the mice nibbled on. hope the cat just bites them and leaves them to suffer.
met with assessor, he is still alive but the stress was not worth it. and loaned tree tractor/backhoe is damaged but Lord knows I can't say the FIL wrecked it.
I got a free hot dog today, so I am not mad. Boy Scout gave it to me.
life is good. no beer needed.

Quick stop in, was helping Dad get ready to plant some grass for the hay field. Pulled the old spreader out and did a lil PM work on it... (see Scott, I can remember that).
Claude got a few pics of it for you.
Not sure what year it is but he picked it up about 15yrs ago from a local farmer for 50 bucks. Its in good condition and fully functional.

Evening Folks.
Got in last night from the Grand Canyon trip.
Had to cut the trip a little short due to a potential buyer for the house we put on the market just before we left.
We didn't expect to get a "bite" THAT quickly.
Met with the real estate agent this evening.
The sale of that house will allow the building of my new detached garage at Casa Del Shovelhead.

Evening everyone
Got dads truck fixed and road worthy again after the incident with the tire falling off last weekend. Got my warrantied shock put on the truck today.
Lil Dennis, did a compression test of the MD. I'm a little puzzled, I got about 110-120 psi on each cylinder when in gas mode but in diesel two of the holes had no reading, one was 30, and the last one was 120 psi. I don't know much about the heads and switch over system in those tractors. Any info or suggestions about the readings I got from the compression test?
Wife went to the city for a show with her friends. I went to dinner with mom tonight. We went to the pub for perch and fried shrimp. Had a pretty good meal there.
