You are having the closest to real Mexican food without being in Mexico. I love authentic mexican food, I had it the last time I was in mexico and it was better than anything i've had in the states. The mexican food here is made from 10 year old cats and isnt that great.

Evening DTR. Glad it's almost friday! Got a new pair of boots today, I had a bunch of gift cards to Bass pro so I ordered a pair of LaCrosse wellington style work boots. I warmed them up and covered them in some Obenaufs leather preservative tonight. It works great for water proofing the leather, the third pair of boots i've used the stuff on.

Dinner tonight was homemade beef stew w/ lots of beef and taters.

yes and I still like real mexican food better. Just my preference. Does eating Mexican in Vermont count as east coast or is that New England Mexican?

Evening Eric!

Evening everybody. Just arrived home.
Living in Mexico I eat a lot of Mexican food and love it. Whenever I go up to the states and occasionally try some Mexican food the difference in taste is very obvious. They appear to use different spices up there. Not good. My wife intensely dislikes the American style Mexican food.

I dunno, Matt.

Maybe I'm wrong, but I grew up on the south eastern mexican, so I miss it.

Got my uniform all ready for tomorrow, we're in service bravo's. Still pretty fat, glad I got it tailored...

Mmmm Guiness... nothin better out there.

The best tamales I've ever had were from an old mexican guy who used to push a little cart around outside of my Junior high school. Bout ate myself sick many times. Good stuff. Pretty good mexican food growin up in denver, but it was authentic. Gotta get from the old timers though. they seem to be the ones who really know what they are doin.

Obenauf's huh. Never heard of it. But I might just have to give that stuff a try. Gonna try to NOT buy a pair of winter steel toes. Gotta water proof the ones I have though. Not gonna be around drilling mud much anymore, so it sounds like that may be the stuff I need to get to keep the snow and rain off the tootsies while i'm on location. Thanks Matt!!!
