Rained non stop all day yesterday. Morris and I slept non stop all day yesterday. The rain is supposed to break by noon.
The state was hauling in truck loads of boulders and dumping them in the river by us. Looked like the level came up. I don't think we are going to have as much trouble this year as the river has moved towards mid channel after that last big earthquake we had.

So the wife is into this whole horse thing. Kind of fun, I guess. I don't know. There's nowhere to put the diesel into it, so it's just not as cool to drive around in.

Makes her happy...and it's out in the fresh air. I guess it would be different in a different scenery, vs scrub pines and sand.

Got up early today (couldn't sleep past 4:30. Took a ride to the shoreline to view NYC early in the day (6:00am). Peaceful, no fires burning, and I couldn't hear any screams, so I guess it's okay.

I hate summer weather. Near 84 today. YUK! You can have it.

Two young ladies for a ride, with the trainer (on right). Having their photos taken

6:00 am looking towards NYC

No change in the weather. Heats up during the day and then afternoon rain. Cools off at night, then starts all over again.
Went to Lowe's to find more cat proofing hardware. Morris is proving to be a formidable adversary. Just being a cat I guess.

49°, should go up to mid-upper 50°s. Just finished a straight 15 hour rain. Glad this place drains well. Thunder storms for today and tomorrow. Glad we got the rain first. Morris is being more and more a cat, making demands and getting grouchy if he doesn't get his way.
I hate lawyer speak, you can't tell what they mean. My employer's bankruptcy has been approved and an auction date has ben set for later this month. If I understand what they are saying a liquidation, as in each piece is not aloud. They can sell the whole company, or the individual smaller companies that made up the whole. Considering how many companies were merged, the later would be most likely. So my fate still hangs in limbo.

Pennsyltucky has been nice for the month of June. I haven't had to burn any firewood thus far, and I don't need to plow the heat off my driveway to get projects in the shop.

I have been wearing a long sleeve shirt to work in the mornings when its in the low 50's, but by noon it back up in the high 70's to mid 80's.

June is my favorite month by far, long days and everything is a nice deep green color.

I'm wearing long sleeve shirts to keep from being eaten by mosquitos and flies.

Beautifully warm day yesterday. Got one of the piles of sticks ground up and spread in the garden. 4 more piles to go. Today is supposed to be another sunny day. Depend on weather the wife shifts her dump/shopping day to tomorrow we can grind some more sticks. Tomorrow is supposed to be rainy.
Today is day 10 with Mr. Morris. Today we finalize his adoption. In spite of some health and psychological issues we have uncovered, we are going to keep him. He deserves a better life than the one he has had.

Looks like a warm week with highs about 80 for the week.
Been pretty dry so the bugs have been keeping it down to a dull roar in the woods around me.
Might try to get in a little fishing with the daughter during the heat of the day today, if not tomorrow. She needs to build up a more hours of driving before taking her drivers test. I have been trying to pick cool spots to fish for us that are a nice drive away so she can get some good seat time in her Subaru.

We did alright fishing today.
Looks like I am cleaning a smallmouth bass and cooking dinner tonight.
The rest of the fish got thrown back to grow a little more.
It was a nice couple of hours spent hitting a few small ponds and fishing with my daughter

Rainy weather has kept me indoors. I've been doing computer maintenance, updates, and upgrades. My old Windows 7 laptop I was finally able to coax it into excepting the Windows 10 upgrade. You can get it for free. Clearing out all the assorted cache, backup, and old files really made a speed difference on that old slow machine. All my computers are now running Windows 10 version 2004 with no bugs. Now that that is done, the rain has stopped and it has dried out a little, I can get back to my stick pile.

Starting to grow webbing between my toes with all this rain. Will the sun ever come out again? Will tomorrow ever come? Will Goofey ever get his GED?

Well I haven't had a TV for almost 15 years. Most of the stuff on it seems like a waste of time.

We are finally getting some rain today after a dry spell and a bunch of hot days [85F-90F and humid]. It was getting pretty dry even in some of the swampy spots of the woods. Maybe I can touch of that last bush pile I made clearing up the trails around the house last week.

No more fake news. I can get a more accurate weather report from weather underground.
It was supposed to rain yesterday. So I took the vacuum cleaner apart and fixed it, then cleaned the house. Of course, it didn't rain after all.
