Evening everyone. Not much went on today. Went to dinner with a friend tonight that I haven't talked to in about a year. BSed in his shop for a few hrs tonight and I helped him a little with a project he is doing. He's restoring a 1914 Case gas tractor for a customer. He machined a new governor assembly for it. We test fit the new gov tonight, ended up needing a little more machining done to it. He said that tractor will be worth around 70-80k when he's finished with it. He has alot of work to be done but no room in the shop. almost all of the work is cutomers tractors that are to be worked on. On top of that he has two steam engines, a Cat 60, and a 52 Peterbilt to rebuild for himself.

Taking a pre-employment test for the power company tomorrow afternoon.

Jeff, I responded to the Evan Bayh thread in the political forum today since he's from my state.

Hey Matt, Good luck with the test!!!

Saw your post. Kinda figured he was a pretty straight shooter. I may not agree with him on some stuff, but it seems as though he was an honest guy. Would have loved to have been a fly on the wall during those discussions!!!!

Ya'll be good, fresh coffee on. Wifey made a plate of white chocolate chip cookies... Fresh milk in the box.

I don't agree with him on everything either but he was a very honest and smart person and didn't BS the people. Pretty much told it how it is, which is a rare thing among politicians. He never seemed to be in the news for anything wrong or cause any trouble. When he was gov of indiana he actually had the state in a surplus budget unlike now where the state seems to be short on cash. The media has called him a conservative democrat in the past.
