W i n d y here today but warm. I think the thermometer said 75 earlier today. Busy day here. Leaving here around 0500 tomorrow to go to Angola Indiana. Dad is going to a sale there. Asked if i wanna come with, I have nothing else to do so why not. Guess the sale has some farmall parts and a few farmall tractors he's interested in.

yeah, well there you have the pro's opinion, so don't think it was you furball! I am staying away from you as i think you are somewhat frustrated that a one day project took three.....check the air pressure on the gun, ...yadayada
fixed some stuff, hubby took me for a bike ride out for a really good fish fry. even pecan pie. pays to keep my mouth shut. installing a speed bag next to the heavy bag, got to focus.
left the 12 inch set down pipe at tractor supply in town.......

Just got home not too long ago. Talked to Mark on the phone for a few. Was so nice to hear your voice...er...talk to you.
Taking it easy. House to myself tonight - so I'm gonna crank up some good country, drink some beers, and clean. Tough thing bein a clean guy living amongst dirty roommates. Ah well. Somebody's gotta do it.
Not much in these parts. Got my hairs trimmed. I look sex(ier) now.

Rained hear all day.... Kinda nice. Made for some good sleeping. Pulled a bunch of the pollen and dust outta the air too. That'll make Mama and the littleun fel better.
Chaikwa- Find a mud hole for that truck and quit worrying about the paint..... Mud covers well and doesn't have to go on even.....

Yep, that's it.
When we were at GR Fire Headquarters a few weeks ago, they told us that each of GR's stations will have 3 person staffing come June no matter what the call volume or how many pieces of apparatus are in the station. Nice, real nice.
When the person responsible for running the department grows a set and puts his/her foot down. 3 people can NOT execute a safe and effective interior attack of a structure fire. All it does it put FF's in unnecessary danger on top of the danger they already have to face with near full staffing. What should be done is interior rescues if it's possible, then surround and drown until something resembling safe staffing levels are returned. It's being done around the country already but more chief officers need to step up to the plate.

I am on a 3 man truck co. We run down to 3 often, and we are very proficient operating like that. Yes it can be done, but I agree with you. It is a lot safer with at least 4.
