The best was a Fedex tractor trailer with doubles behind it. He cleared the bridge without both trailers getting stuck. The trailers were now a few inches shorter and packages were everywhere!

Evening DTR. Mom had the day off today so I picked her up from the local dodge dealer this morning. She had a few things needing fixed on the 300, and it was still under warranty. I took her to do some of the shopping she needed to get done and took her to the garden center. She picked up a bunch of flowers and plants for her planter boxes at the house. Mom saw grandpa yesterday, first time since he's been back from his trip to FL with my aunt and uncle. Mom said he's doing well still but is looking more tired. Siad he's still in good spirits.

How's everyone tonight?

ditto! great day today, boat all safe at the repair facility. only work they have (sad) so we are getting some extra lovin' from the big, husky, scary dock workers.... 500+ mile trip done w/o hassle except one permit went from a paper one to electronic-ooops. no one said anything about selling the road to a private entity....the road? NYS Thruway! funny how the media missed that... all private company serviced now. only an hour delay- wul dhave been gone 45 minutes sooner but one worker did not know how to open a door. amazing.

Don, thinking of you pal- saw so many great trout sites!! got to call chaikwa tonight so better get showered up...

good on the go home call Rog and Blake!!

T minus 4 for work matt!

Evenin, other night shift is on. OL just dropped off some chow for me and my Marines, stuffed shells, cesear salad, bread, and citrus tea.

Got some bad news from the doc today... I have an ACL tear. He asked me if I wanted crutches, I told him I was getting around ok thus far... he was a little surprised. I guess this is a pretty serious injury or something. When he did his little test on my knee, he pulled it forward, and the bottom of my knee came forward about an inch, felt all funny.

Tonight is my last night on nights, I get off from after tonight until Monday... Time to work on the house, I'm all about it.

Ya'll be good.

Ouch. Mark, i dunno if you've had knee problems before but once you get it "fixed" your knee will never be the same. Friend of mine in high school while playing in a football game took a hit and blew both of his ACL's. He had to have surgery right away and was on crutches for a few months afterwards. That was his second knee injury and when he tried to enlist after high school, no one would take him. Mine was torn cartlige, and eventhough it was "fixed" my knee still bothers me and the surgery was 9 years ago. It's a constant pain all day and some days I've even had it give way on me.

They said that it was being considered as an option on this mornings news.

Man that must look like a marsh fire x1000.
