Gonna try to make a couple games this year. Made 1 last year to the new stadium. Was against tearing the old onw down. But, the new one is cozy, very relaxing and easy access.

Believe me, for years, it's been tough to be a Detroit fan. I don't die if I can't catch a game and I'd rather be there live. I agree that it doesn't quite compare to a day on the river though.Contrary to popular belief though, there ARE some "honies" in that town. I DO despise basketball.

The wife and I are gonna try to go to at least one White Sox game this summer. We want to go to the Cross-town Classic if we can (Sox vs Cubs). The cubs have a memeber that I played peewee football, little league baseball, and went to school with on their pitching roster. Guy's name is Jeff Samardzija, good athlete but a horrible person.


Mark watching them in person is alot better than on the tv. I'm not a sports person but I like my football still, college and pro. I'm a Green Bay fan and the wife is a Chicago Bears fan, both teams have a big rivalry with each other. Wife was mad this year, Green Bay won both games! I can't watch baseball on tv or basketball on tv. I hate pro basketball, college basketball is the only basketball to go see. The wife is a huge Indiana University B-ball fan. Sometimes we go to the IU football games to tailgate and have a good time with friends.

 

I'll watch a little baseball or football for a minute or two, I can get into a Braves game if I am tied to a chair, but other than that...

I HATE basketball. I'd rather watch some hockey.

BTW, I will watch a little high school ball. That's the good stuff.
