well, let's all put Mad and his Gramps in our prayers tonight. i know you were pretty concerned when he was sick a while back.

never had a grandpa myself. seems like it would be a pretty good deal.
a best buddy who is old enough to drive, buy you candy, and never tells you no.

Madcap - - said a prayer for Grandpa and remembered you too. Not fun waiting around for the word. Never did meet my one GF but did enjoy some limited time with the other. Nice. Our thoughts are with you right now - - grab that Bible in the hospital stand and read a Psalm and think about it.

Prayers for your grandfather and a speedy recovery. Let me know what happens. Sorry about the board, next time right? Give me a call when you get time.

Thanks, everyone. This is why I love the DTR. We take cheap shots at each other, but everyone is always there for the other. My wife called earlier, and said that he was out of surgery and in recovery, then they will move him to ICU in a few hours for the night. A little relief, but not out of the woods yet. I hate to say it, but I think I would be more crushed if something were to happen to him than if it happened to my mom. (is that wrong? My mom was good to me... a good mother and I love her)
News to follow. Thanks again for the warm wishes and prayers, DTR family.

He sucks. He's on light duty, too. I'm probably about to lose him to medical problems. They sure don't make them like they used to...

Wooo just got home a bit ago. Hot day out. I'm the guy wearing jeans, boots and long sleeves in the 120 degree weather. Everyone looks at me funny; but it keeps ya more cool(atleast I think)

Gonna watch a movie we picked up the other day, Wild Hogs. My parents said it was pretty good!

Anyone got any good plans tonight?

Josh

Mad Hat.....
You're lucky.... you've had the chance to know your grandfather. Like others, mine passed when I was too young to know them. Our prayers for yours and you for a joyful outcome.

so what yer sayin' is, Grandpa, at about 80 years old, is tougher than this ~25year old whippersnapper you got?

has Grandpa got PAYPAL? i will send him money for a bus ticket to come up here and clean this kids clock for ya.

that's good rehab right there!!

glad to hear he's doing good. you watch them movies is sent you?
the one with air planes is whatever.

the other one, with just interviews from real men who landed there,
is awesome.
