Mornin' all,
Houston: Mostly sunny and hot, with a high near 101. Heat index values as high as 108. Calm wind becoming east around 5 mph.

Hat: your the best!

Wife at work, we were up late as she was in school. At 0130 went outside, but too much city light to see the meteor shower.

NWDave, I would stop at the wooden coffee shack westbound on Hwy 20 by the cement sculpture place. Had good and would make it HOT for me.

5erBob, got your PT time in, and your chores done before pool time

Heidi out having fun, way to go girl.

Have to rope in the wild kidletts,

Have a good un, and be safe out there.

That isn't even real coffee and it's so expensive no one I know can afford it. They oughta call it 'Ten-Bucks' cuz that's about what it costs.

Just came from the dentist... can't feel my bottom lip or tongue. Droolin' all over the desk. Gotta try some of Bob's f00-f00 juice to see if that eliminates the effects of the novacaine.

Hat's gettin' another award? He's gonna want us to start callin' him 'sir' pretty soon if he keeps gettin' them things!

Jus' made a fresh pot so it'll be ready when my tongue can taste things again.

Mornin' All.

Gonna be another hot one here today; high of 111 Ain't too bad I guess, I'll stay indoors! Gotta run a few errands today, gonna keep it pretty low key.

Man I miss this DTR coffee, it sure gives you that extra kick you just can't get anywhere else. I think that's Mad's combat boot up my rear end, not sure.

Hope you all have a good (hot) day! Be safe and drink that water!

Mornin

Woke up at 0430 today, phoned the son who had to be at work at 0530 just to make sure he was up and at it. He was so went back to bed, holidays are a great invention.

Cool weather and breezy here. Actually heard the furnace kick in during the night. Weather is a little haywire. Don't know what I'd do in 111* heat. Man that s way to hot even if your in a pool.

Janitor with a frozen lip and tongue now i can't understand him at all. At least before you could pick out the occasional word or two out of a sentence.j/k

Didn't see any meteors up here either Davey, dark enough but to much cloud cover.

Got to go and pickup some stain for the inside of the barn and a shed. Don't like painting least favorite job. Oh well has to get done.

Have fun and drive safe...

You gotta be kiddin' - - the heater kicked in - - in August!!! WOW, if it gets any colder you might have to go down to the mall, take your little surf board and jump in the wave making pool and warm up - - or lay on the sand to get your tan. Heater on - - in August - - that's insane. It wasn't that cold there in the first of May.

That explains it. I thought you were trying to flirt or something. I was gonna ask TOP for a transfer... Don't ask, don't tell. Just don't teach Jake to bark with a lisp.

Not defending starbucks but I figure it's the only out here you'd know about. I know the one you're talking about, Davey. It's in the middle of all the new expansion, so I don't get over that far, I run up Josh Wilson from the Stater Cop Shop to Farm to Market (A little nostalgia for Davey, be patient all you DTR'ers). Made the mistake of showing the concrete statuary to the wife. That cost me some bombing funds, I'll tell you.
Back to thread. Gawd, I hate Electrical Engineers... (not really, just a certain few). We're getting ready to wrap up a B-I-G project, swapping out a UPS system (30 KVa, for those that care) and they discover the need for a transformer, that we'll need tomorrow!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Enuff for today. 3 years and counting to second retirement. Make room FiverBob and Davey.

Dave - - how about Seattle Best coffee - - much better stuff??? I will stop for that java. I bypass Starbucks as far as possible when in the airports - - that rank odor fills the rampways - - horrible. And some businesses brag that they serve Starbucks. DUH

Retirement? Bring it on, baby. Get yourself a nice fiver to put behind that Ram and come join the party - - great life. We really enjoyed Whidbey and the San Juans this spring - - and Rainier and St Helens - - and Yellowstone - - and Oregon coast - - and California coast - - and Baja - - and - - well, you get the idea. That is retirement.

LaidBackAndLovinItBob (if I could ever get the doctor, dentists, skin doc, heart doc, retina doc, long black snake doc over and done with for this year - - man, will it ever stop????)

Evening everyone!

Just finished supper. Made some homemade pizza. It was good! The best part is that there is leftovers - lunch tomorrow

Go back to work tomorrow. Time to hit the grindstone again! Got some projects I need to get done at work. Today was my last "free" monday more or less since I start school next week. Go from 0800 to 2100 with a couple of breaks on mondays. Should keep me busy!

Hope you all have a good evening!

Josh

NW are you a lineman? I have been reading a little on the Northwest Lineman College. Seems like a good deal too me my current job is great but its not a career and if it sells I don't know what my future holds there. I am loyal to the current owners but the new owners I will owe nothing too. My neighbor here is a lineman for our local PUD thats what got me thinking.
