Tuesday AM and all's .....well.......screwed up as usual............

Cooler temps make for a nice ride in on the G-G this morning.

Not too much on the Gotta Do list......just enough to make the day go by quicker.

Y'all stay safe.

Morning. Feeling a little more human today. Been getting cold at night for sleeping at least. Still pretty hot during the day. Got the next two off and gonna do some more cleaning up on these axles. It's almost crunch time. Guess I'll go start another pot. This one felt full, but only a trickle came out.

Well of course, someone's gotta do the work around here!

Gotta take a road trip today to get grain. Looks like it's gonna rain, (naturally), so I'll prob'ly spend as much time tarpin' the load as drivin' it.

Coffee's good but I didn't make it.

No, I'm not. My classification is inside wireman. As to the Northwest Lineman College, I can't offer any advice. I know nothing about them. Talk to your neighbor, ask him what it takes to become a lineman. I know that up here, most of the linemen are members of local 77 (I believe) IBEW. I do know that come winter time, they put in extremely long hours under arduous conditions. I'd never be one, that's for sure. It's a young man's game while you're doing your apprenticeship. I also know there's been a shortage of linemen. Good money but you really got to earn it.

All of that one two sips of coffee....

FiverBob--Seattle's Best is a good grind. Personally, I buy whole bean and grind my own. I have a friend who buys green beans and cooks his own in an old popcorn air popper. A real dedicated coffee "nut". (His coffee isn't really that great either, but I don't have the heart to tell him...He's a good hearted person.

Well, time to get out amongst them.

Ok you guys in the heat zone are ticking me off a little. Dang temps here are down to 4-5*C at night, or about 40*F, that just sucks at this time of year. It's too early to start getting the woolies out yet. Too much to do, not ready for summer to be over. Global warming my...edit

Stain buying was a chore yesterday. We had one gallon left over from last year, and needed two more. Bright white was the color, yes you guessed it.

Oh no sir we don't handle that any more that has been discontinued, sorry would you like another color. WHAT THE ... How in the world can you not have plain old white in your lineup to chose from??? I think I still have the headache...
Picked out some from a different company and of course white and white are not the same. How could that be??

Good coffee this AM, thanks Hat.
Hope everyone has a good day. Stay cool. Need to go paint before it freezes.

Have fun and drive safe.

Job don't feel bad about 40s here were I live in Oregon in the high desert for the last week or so we have had temps down too 37-39 in the mornings and all the leaves on the aspen and cotton wood trees are starting to turn yellow like its fall already. In fact one morning it was so cold one of the 37 days I came back in an got my pendleton wool jacket so I could finish feeding.

Mornin' all

Temp forcast to be about 100*F again today, slight chance of Tstorms. Ijobb we sucked all the heat down here.

good. Looking for the gut bombs, err donuts. Hmmmm

NWDave, yup, know them roads well. Been to that cop shop a few times. Have a friend on WSP. That Peets coffee is good, but pricey. The Shell stations at what if I remember at I-5 exit 236 south of Bellingham had too older ladies that would make fresh sweet rolls and things every day. Had a good coffee also. But last time I was there a few years back it had changed hands and the bakers were gone, what they had was Find something good and it gone.

Ijobb, know what you run into with the "discontinued, or no longer carry that" There are a lot of white and depends on the lighting as to how it can look. Have to have a sample with you to have it matched.

5erBob looking forward to the NW pix.

Gotta run,

Have a good un, and be safe out there.
