Just warmed up the grill and threw some Brats on for the nightcrew. Brews later, coffee or pepsi now.

Hey Matt - - ya did good. Pretty good ph00 - - trying to catch all the flavors in there. Hmmm, maybe I don't want to know. Ummm, good, whatever.

Go to bed, Don. Up at 1 am posting on the site - - go clean a fish or something. You are a mess.

Heading into the shower, get purdy and head to church to teach my class. Have to extol words of wisdom - - - hmmm, wonder who I can find to do that for us? Then mama is taking me out to lunch - - should be fun.

Have a great day - - great fireworks last night - - never know we were in a bind financially. Sure blew up (literally) a lot of money last night. Gorgeous. God bless America - - how lucky we are.

Bob

You can do that? Who'da thunk it?

Sorry for my absence yesterday. I know you all missed me and I apologize for putting you thru that.

Here's you daily history report;

On this day in 1814 - U.S. troops under Jacob Brown defeated a superior British force at Chippewa, Canada.

1863 - U.S. Federal troops occupied Vicksburg, MS, and distributed supplies to the citizens.

1865 - William Booth founded the Salvation Army in London.

1892 - Andrew Beard was issued a patent for the rotary engine.

1935 - U.S. President Roosevelt signed the National Labor Relations Act into law. The act authorized labor to organize for the purpose of collective bargaining.

1940 - During World War II, Britain and the Vichy government in France broke diplomatic relations.

1941 - German troops reached the Dnieper River in the Soviet Union.

1943 - The battle of Kursk began as German tanks attack the Soviet salient. It was the largest tank battle in history.

1950 - U.S. forces engaged the North Koreans for the first time at Osan, South Korea.

Hope everyone had a good 4th!

Mornin everyone.

The wife bought a Kureg (sp) coffee maker a couple months ago. I told here she was crazy, she said, "just wait you will love it. I must say she was right. It pressure brews one cup at a time in about 10 seconds and you can get tons of different flavor coffee's. I am enjoying a nice cinnamon bun flavored coffee, it is pretty good. Then I will indulge in a wild blueberry coffee, hmmm what's happening to me?

Bob, thanks for stepping up and teaching the young ones.

Believe it or not I taught Sunday school for 6 years. Who would have thunk it.

Hi Scott, I have a call into my contact. He was away at school all week, so I should have that info for you wed-thur at the latest.

Matt thanks for the new break room. I was out till 03:00 at my neighbors for a bon fire. I can't believe I am up this early. Feeling pretty good so I am going to mow my lawn, then take off on the scooter with the wife for the day. It is going to be sunny and 83 for a high temp, about time.

Of course you must... if you didn't you wouldn't get any for months! COFFEE! Get your minds out of the gutter!

Appreciate it Tim. But like I said earlier, 'no rush'. I have to figure out an A/C problem anyway. Compressor won't stay 'on', and the system has the right pressure and amount of freon in it too. At an idle it works great. At higher RPM's it cuts out and won't cut back in without pushing the little blue button on the dash. That gets old real quick!

That answers my next question... I was wondering if you got rid of the crud!

Have you changed the receiver/dryer? Also suspect a high pressure cut off switch.

Good morning to all from Paradise. Was away all of last week up in baking hot and humid Texas so y'all had a reprieve from me. Ain't you lucky!
It is the rainy season down here and sometimes the rain here resembles that old song from Camelot. Most of you will have zero idea what I am talking about, so here are a few of the words:

A law was made a distant moon ago here:
July and August cannot be too hot.

The rain may never fall till after sundown.
By eight, the morning fog must disappear.
In short, there's simply not
A more congenial spot
For happily-ever-aftering than here
In...Cam-e-lot!

If it were possible, I sure would share my weather with you. It is mainly because of the weather that I am down here.
Right now at 09:15 in the morning there is still some left over cloud from the rain last night, the temperature is 74 degrees and may go as high as 80 by the end of the day. Due to the rain we have unusually high humidity at 60%, but normally we run around 20-30% humidity. In other words, it's very nice here.
The only thing we need to watch out for is the sun as it can burn easily. However, the shade is delightful, even on the hottest days.

In my house we have a lot of skylights and in the master bedroom shower I have a skylight to match the size of the shower. The glass is 3 X 6 feet and a few days ago I was taking a late shower and it was pouring rain. By pouring, I mean a tropical downpour. It was really nice to hear the rain pounding down on the glass above me while the shower was running. Close your eyes and try to picture that.

YEP, had my years doing that also, but this class is far from the little ones. This is the SENIOR adult class. Great bunch, but most of them know their Bibles pretty well -- always a challenge to make sure they are learning something they didn't know.

I don't think so, Stan. You can stand in front of the mirror and admire yourself, but don't make me picture the sight. OHH, I'm so sorry, you meant picture the skylight above the shower. Man, I have one almost that big above the shower in the fiver - - well, maybe half that size anyways. It is kinda cool to be in there and have it raining outside.

Good church, the SS teacher was terrific and the din din was wonderful, especially the cute blonde who ate with me. Now settle back for some relax. Be good, ya'll,

Bob

Yep, receiver/dryer was changed out along with a new compressor and evaporator. System was pumped down and recharged with new freon. Where's the high pressure switch? I'll by-pass it!

There's a lien on your camera? Didn't you just get that? Kind of early on in the game to have a lien on it already!

Decent here today, 80ish. Still not July summer tho. Better than snow, but still, it's supposed to be HOT!

Now you done did it - my feelings are hurt. You don't want to look at me???? Aw shucks! Hey, I don't look that bad. Just ask my blind wife.

So you teach the SENIOR class? Gee, wonder why the words: an old fart teaching more old farts comes to mind?
The SS teacher was terrific? Just how long is that arm that pats yourself on the back?

This made me remember a few lifetimes ago when I was teaching an adult SS class and the pastor was one of my students. Forget what the subject for the day was, but remember using a scripture reference to show that the pastor of a church was saint. Boy, did that get the pastors attention and a lot of laughs!
