What up homies? Bought the new Medal of Honor so guess what I will be doing tonight? That's right waiting for it to install and patch and by the time that happens I won't want to play it.

Man has it been slow here in DTR land lately. One might think the holiday season is upon us an folks want to actually spend some time with their families.

It was 40* here for the high today. It's nice outside with the sun out! I'm looking forward to the colder weather, it was too warm here this past summer.

Afternoon DTR. Been working on the "Honey Do" list the last few days. Signed up for my Unemployment yesterday, should only need it for a couple weeks.

Got a few issues to take care of with my truck. Got my vacuum pump seal kit in today and looks like I'm having APPS issues with the truck now. Depending what I firgure out, looks like I might have to buy a Timbo APPS to install on it.

Started getting all the Christmas lights out and ready to put up this week.

No, it's going to snow Thanksgiving Day, and I wanted to get as much done as I could BEFORE then. Going to be cruddy right thru the weekend.

I guess it's time consuming for everyone but me... I haven't figured the whole thing out yet so rather than DO something that'll crash the site, I'm taking my time and learning as I go. Heck, yesterday I learned how to sign in on my own!

What's an 'APPS'? And what's a 'Timbo'?

Evening all.

Yeah, poor thing is right. It was 75 in the house this evening, I was freezing. I got in the hot tub for a bit, I feel better. Got a sweat suit on now, tho.

Wife got the expendables to watch tonight, don't know if I'm going to watch it or not. Tired.

So?

Got a bit of sunburn today working outside in my shorts in that burning hot sun. Did so much sweating that when I came inside my tactful wife told me I stank and needed a shower. Sheesh, I already had a shower not that long before.

Made it home safe and sound. Just shy of 1000 miles. Did not fair well on the mpg as I had the truck on high idle often and left it running lots to keep the older inlaws warm.

The service was nice as far as services go. Real close knit family.

Time for a sleep, did not sleep well on the trip...LEGG/KNEE was twitching in the area where the surgery was done...real irritating. I gotta get past this thing.

Lots of overtiredness here...must go put the girls to bed.

Thanks Claude. Where ya been?

Morning all.

Today is Wednesday, November 24th.

On this day in 1859 - Charles Darwin, a British naturalist, published "On the Origin of Species." It was the paper in which he explained his theory of evolution through the process of natural selection.

1863 - During the Civil War, the battle for Lookout Mountain began in Tennessee.

1871 - The National Rifle Association was incorporated in the U.S.

1940 - ***** closed off the Jewish ghetto in Warsaw, Poland. Over the next three years the population dropped from 350,000 to 70,000 due to starvation, disease and deportations to concentration camps.

1944 - During World War II, the first raid against the Japanese capital of Tokyo was made by land-based U.S. bombers.

1963 - Dallas nightclub owner Jack Ruby shot and killed Lee Harvey Oswald live on national television.

1969 - Apollo 12 landed safely in the Pacific Ocean bringing an end to the second manned mission to the moon.

1971 - Hijacker Dan Cooper, known as D.B. Cooper, parachuted from a Northwest Airlines 727 over Washington state with $200,000 in ransom.

1987 - The U.S. and the Soviet Union agreed to scrap short- and medium-range missiles. It was the first superpower treaty to eliminate an entire class of nuclear weapons.

1993 - The U.S. Congress gave its final approval to the Brady handgun control bill.

1996 - Rusty Wallace won the first NASCAR event to be held in Japan.

THOUGHT FOR THE DAY:
Why is "number" abbreviated as "no"? When there is no "o" in number?

Coffee, tea & ph00 are on. Grab a fork.
