Evenin, folks...

Had a great day, first one in a while.

Yeah, Stan, I know, I'm alive, blah blah blah... People that have one tooth and no legs, blah blah...

Looking forward to this week. Great times.

Wow. There is less going on in here than there is in my house. Somebody needs to get drunk and type some worthwhile blabber. Rats, it could be me but I don’t want to drive to town to get any beer. I will put it on my list.

Marc n Bark....

anyway, decent day here, forecast 3 - 5 cm of snow, well, multiples of 3-5 cm of snow, adding up to about 35cm of snow later, it's easing up.

Other than that, things are going along swimmingly as can be, nothing major to report at this point. Got the blade and door on the skidsteer loader, ready for plowing, got the driveway cleared, load of garbage to the dump, truck is fueled and ready for the new week, and still found time for paying work today. Gotta like that.

Back to the saying " things are never so bad, that they can't be made worse"

As far as no drama, its kind of nice, but if you keep talking loud enough, you'll wake the head janistrator, then we'll all be in trouble.

Have fun people

I kinda missed the drive past your place this season since I had left the truck in the States. We always looked forward to pulling into Whitehorse for a reprieve and a burger. Nothing going on here tonight. Gonna play COD4 on line with some buddies in awhile. Haven’t played for about six months.

Hey all. It's Mondaygetupyadayadayada.

Today's the twenty-tooth of November.

On this day in 1718 - English pirate Edward Teach (a.k.a. "Blackbeard") was killed during a battle off the coast of North Carolina. British soldiers cornered him aboard his ship and killed him. He was shot and stabbed more than 25 times.

1899 - The Marconi Wireless Company of America was incorporated in New Jersey.

1906 - The International Radio Telegraphic Convention in Berlin adopted the SOS distress signal.

1942 - During World War II, the Battle of Stalingrad began.

1943 - U.S. President Franklin Roosevelt, British Prime Minister Winston Churchill and Chinese leader Chiang Kai-shek met in Cairo to discuss the measures for defeating Japan.

1963 - U.S. President Kennedy was assassinated while riding in a motorcade in Dallas, TX. Texas Governor John B. Connally was also seriously wounded. Vice-President Lyndon B. Johnson was inaugurated as the 36th U.S. President.

1972 - U.S. President Richard M. Nixon lifted a ban on American travel to Cuba. The ban had been put in place on February 8, 1963.

1984 - Fred Rogers of PBS' "Mr. Rogers' Neighborhood" presented a sweater to the Smithsonian Institution.

1986 - Attorney Generel Meese's office discovered a memo in Colonel Oliver North's office that included an amount of money to be sent to the Contras from the profits of weapons sales to Iran.

1990 - U.S. President H.W. Bush, his wife, Barbara, and other congressional leaders shared Thanksgiving dinner with U.S. troops in Saudi Arabia.

1998 - CBS's "60 Minutes" aired a tape of Jack Kevorkian giving lethal drugs in an assisted suicide of a terminally ill patient. Kevorkian was later sentenced to 25 years in prison for second-degree murder.

2005 - Microsoft's XBOX 360 went on sale.

THOUGHT FOR THE DAY:
If a man has no fingers, can he press charges?

Coffee & ph00 are ready.

Morning. Long week last week helping the SIL. Now to get back on my list. Thanksgiving is approaching so that means it's 'frying time again'. The wife has a house full coming this year so now we're doing 2 birds. I've got to get some flashing and modify the turkey fryer to make it more efficient. Finally found a use for that extra 1st gen turbo.....

Greetings eh I am typing on my wifes I phone. Kinda cool. We are going to the Memorial Service this afternoon. Family dynamics are present. Keeping mouth shut and supporting.

Altered the phoo00 to a beautiful GREeN in honor of our cfl team winning the western conference and heading to the gray cup next Sunday.

It's been -25 to -30 C with the wind and it's still snowing with more on the way!

I see the old sun dried phartz made it in first to start the thread and dry their depends LOL

Mornin' all!

30* and raining. Weather service put out a "winter weather" advisory. Kinda confusing cause winter usually means snow......... Not rain

The good thing is if it rains hard enough, it'll take care of all the snow I didn't get plowed when the 4-wheeler died on me.......

Driving will be fun today.

22* and rain here. How is it the interior is warmer than we are?

I already tried and quit that driving thing. Slid down the hill on my side road all the way through the intersection with the highway. God is with me as I didn't hit anything nor were there any cars coming, and if you know the Parks through Wasilla at 0615, you know that's not normal! Decided it was time to retreat to my couch and see if the sand trucks make a pass before I commit to driving into Anchorage. Updated weather reports are calling for up to an inch of freezing rain in town, with lesser amounts throughout the Mat-Su region. I can say there's over 1/4" on roads near my house, and more rain is falling as I type.

Gonna be one of them days I guess

Yep. Definitely gonna be one of those days...... Glad you are ok after the slide. The parks at that time should be considered a war zone somedays......

It's been a warm winter in the interior all season so far. Coldest it got so far is ~5* or so on Halloween... Nothing spectacular so far....

Ya know what - - if you weren't such a big lumlox and a Canuck (most of whom I really like), I just might have to come up there and sit on your big ole head. But seeing as how I really like you, I will just realize the cold has frozen your brain and you just ain't thinkin very clear, just like your gorgeous grey skies. You have white out, just like the snow coming down. And sending them little snow ***** down here only helps our dry conditions, cause we can really use them. They melt before they hit the ground watering our orchids and giving our gators something to drink. And, you seem to have great insight on how to handle this thing you call a depends - - what is that? Hmmm, maybe it is a Canuck thing for people with LEGGS.

Speaking of legs, had my MRI this morning - - technician thought my LEGGS had a wonderful tan and that should help greatly with the imaging. Hmmm????

Just passing by and thought I would see how many made it out of bed. Have a gudurn, gang. You too, big boy.
