Evening Fellas

Rained on us all day. Someone forgot to tell my crew to rain out. Everyone else did. Another 15 hour day. Is it even legal to turn in 200+ hours in a 15 day time period.

I mis-quoted you? ME??? Surely it must've been a mistake, IF I actually did such a thing.

Evening everyone.

I have been told that you have to drink stronger stuff than beer to get kidnapped by the little green men while in the desert. I have tried but it hasn’t happened yet. I am sort of interested in the probes they are supposed to use on ya .

I want to have a natural experience!

I don't know if they are worth the money, but they are worth the food my OL puts out in them, just ask Chris...

Went and PT'd, I'm out of shape and broke the heck off. Good stuff, tho.

Late next week i'll know about the job. They gave me all the paper work for the drug test and background check authorization right after my interview and said to send it in after I hear from them. Interview went well so I'm hoping I got the job.

They are nice, I got them as a Christmas present from the wife 2 years ago. They hold up to cooking on the stove and on the charcoal grill. I use them all the time for different things. They have definately gotten a lot of use from me. They are durable too, I don't worry about denting or breaking anything on them. I had thought about buying them before the wife got them for me.

Remember, Pain is just weakness leaving your body........

Seriously though, I take some stuff called "Elations" I can get at the grocery store. It's a liquid joint health suplament.
http://www.elations.com/
Works really well. MUCH better than the pills I used to take. This stuff kicks in after 2 days or so unlike the pills that take weeks to build up in the system.

Can't really braze or acetylene weld either. Don't know how and no one ever showed me. And to be honest, I don't know where I'd ever be able to use it.

But I can stick weld! Not gloriously, but I can do it.
I can braze a little although it's been forever since I've done it. If you want to have some fun, break a bolt off in an engine block and use some stud puller rod to build it up and remove it. Remember, don't touch the sides of the hole, it's threaded. Welding the threads is a big NO-NO! Just to make it interesting, 7/16 bolt at about a 40* angle, leaning over the radiator on an 800 series Dodge. You have to stand on the bumper.

Finished in Georgia this afternoon so I'm looking for something to do again.

Well, I have a handle on "brazen". brazing is another story, something I have always been good at. Acetylene welding with coat hangers or hercules rod, sure, why not. However, I like my stick, and mig, and tig is more fun than should legally be allowed. But alas, I am not a welder. So disregard anything I might say about welding. the ticket is simply part of my evil plan of goodness to take over the world.

Marc, good to hear that your level of psychosis remains intact, and you are up for promo again.

Bro Blake. Real welders work in the rain, just like the postal service. In fact, if we are having a dry spell, and need rain, all I have to do, is fire up the welder. First arc, and the heavens open up. Think that might be a sign???

In the winter, if I open my toolbox, it snows. Hmmm, seriously, someone is trying to tell me something.

Matt, good luck on the job.

And people, don't take yourselves too seriously, laugh at yourself first, and others after. ( but be sure to laugh at others )

Have a good one.

Sounds like I should finally put out the $ for some good cookware. All of ours is mismatched and not that great except for the canning stuff. Been married for 34+ years so I might get away with it as an anniversary present.

See!! If you had mentioned getting probed by aliens you wouldn’t be needing to go to the TO academy. If they have pictures up, you will see me in the second PTO class (in 85 I think). The requirements were not nearly as stringent as they are today.

pind: missed ya when I went through Whitehorse in Sept (again). Glad you are still kicking.
Got my taxes done!!! Now its time to eat and go to bed.

bark

Funny thing, I spent the bulk of september last year, playing the rain and mud out on the creeks in Dawson.

Felt good to get home, and straight into winter.... but at least I was finally dry.

For sure let me know next time you're on your way though.
