Evening everyone! Back from southern Indiana, the wife and I had a good time down there. Weather was perfect the whole weekend and the IU b-ball team won too.

Jeff, I read in the last breakroom that you might have work soon. Good to hear!

Gonna relax this evening and wind down from the trip.

Many years ago I spent a lot of time to finally get five words per minute morse. Now I understand they dont require it anymore. Dont know if that is a good thing or not. Seems like more yahoo's would be able to get their license without weeding out the idiots but I dont have a radio so dont know about such things.

Pssssst. Claude. They make these things now called 'cell phones'. You can use them anywhere; car, home, boat, etc. And you can talk to people around the world too!

Best you get after it then.

As far as a ham operator, I never really considered it.

I can stick weld. Rather good too. In fact darn good. Not only that, I can MIG too.

Top it off I can braze and acetylene weld too. Hows that for antiquated.

Wish I could TIG though, course never tried, dont have the setup, but bet I could.

I can't. And I DO have the setup and I HAVE tried. Looks like someone blew their nose on a piece of metallic based swiss cheese.

Can't really braze or acetylene weld either. Don't know how and no one ever showed me. And to be honest, I don't know where I'd ever be able to use it.

But I can stick weld! Not gloriously, but I can do it.
