Good morning DTRonians. Saw the smoke so I decided to stick my head in to see what was burning. I thought coffee was supposed to be roasted, not smoldering.

Looking forward to our annual Iditarod thread from our Alaskan members.

Staying busy doing preventative maintenance and tracking down a generator issue with the new-to-me motorhome. Looks like the rain will be moving back in this PM so time to move back to some indoor projects.

Have a great week.

Just hanging out, cleaning up a bit, doing laundry. Wife's gettin back today. I always try to get as much done as I can so when she gets home she doesn't have to worry about it. It's a long drive from Denver.

Money in the bank buddy, money in the bank.

She takes really good care of me. The least I can do is run the vacuum, wash some dishes, and get all the laundry out of the way.

Especially since I told her to go, I would take care of it!!

Never really got into HAM radio. I guess I should, I could build a 500' tower if I wanted to out here. I guess where I live a person should have some form of communication other than the phone and internet.

Man you think I'm dumb now, it would be really bad if I couldn't think for a minute or two between posts. That is the real reason they built in that delay on this site BTW.

Hmmmm,

Thats interesting. you can talk on HAM radio to people on the other side of the globe can't you??? 4 or 500 miles should be a cinch. What about privacy, can't anyone listen in to your conversations?

YEA BUT WHO KNOWS WHERE YOUR GOING TO BE TALKING

WOULD HAVE TO CHECK YOUR AREA BUT 2 METER MIGHT BE INTERISTING IN YOUR ATEA - THEY HAVE A TON OF REPETERS ON 2
THAT WAY YOU DON`T HAVE TO TRANSMIT SO FAR - JUST JUMP FROM REPETER TO REPETAR
