There is rumor going around that Fiat will drop the Dodge name in 2012, does anyone have actual information as to this?

I don't care if they call it Ram as long as they keep making replacement parts. At 57 yrs old I don't plan on buying anymore trucks. Of course I've been babying my 05 with only 20,000 miles on the clock. That should last me until I'm dust in the wind. LOL

 

I appears their dropping Dodge imports to europe as they only sold approx. 4,000 vehicles last year. It has no effect on US sales.

I have a friend with the last name Cummings, and it annoys the crap out of him when I say Cummins...I guess im just so used to it!

Another rumour that Jack and Lary will finally split and probably drop one of the names in 2012....

I was at an off site meeting the other day with some of the head engineers from a very respected company. We went out for a smoke break and one of the guys with 30 plus years at above unmentioned company saw my truck and starts in saying I drive a ford.......I say I'm sorry and chuckle.....Then he says well you do know ford owns Cummins don't you....I lost it and busted a gut in front of him and his colleagues....then I guess he looked it up and found out he was wrong now he's all embarrassed....

 

I hope the world doesnt end in 2012 , i would have just payed the truck off in nov 2011!
