looking for help with discontinued part

Dealer says it is discontinued, looking for the oil cooler. The canister located under the turbo that works as a trans fluid cooler.

I'm trying to avoid a junk yard part, anyone have any ideas......?

Gimme your VIN in a PM and I will see what I can dig up for you. It is possible that it is no longer being made for your truck, but that doesn't mean one isn't sitting on a shelf somewhere.

Fluidyne makes water-to-fluid heat exchangers.

Here's a link to one of them:

Here's a link to the series that Summit carries (not all are water-to-fluid):

Try Princess Auto

Have a look at this. I had a look at one in the store and they are much longer. I would mount on fender rather than block with flexible rubber hydraulic hoses and adapters for the auto trans fluid connections. Price is right and it is built very well.
