Dodge 2500 axle ratio?

trying to find solid information on my 01, dodge, gasoline, 5.9 magnum V8, 4X4, automatic.

i looked all over the truck. there is that cleared over white tag in door jamb but does not state axle ratio. No metal tab either on rear drum.

i called the dealer and gave them the VIN. told me that its a 4.10. But i've find their info is not 1000% accurate either (i bought a O2 sensor last week from them, they fitted me with one that was for a durango based off of VIN)

any hints on how to find out?

thank you

1, Find the tag on either pumpkin. Run the number to get all the specs.

2. Jack it up, and count the number of turns on the driveshaft it takes to turn the wheels exactly 1 rotation.

Sometimes there's a sticker under the hood. I think it was on the radiator support in this year's but they did come off easy.

Inside the glove box door, on the core support, or on the hood behind the latch. If you can read it.

He's running a gasser. 2000 rpm is just off idle.

Available axle ratios were the same though, and the OD ratio was the same.

After I posted up I wondered if an auto would be different than the 1:1 final ratio of my manual and really foul him up. I like to use your method the best when I can't figure one out!!
