Honestly they suck!!! I wouldn't waste my money or time doing one.........I did one on my old 76' F250 and it was a nightmare to prep and didn't hold up at all!!

I used a herculiner on my old 95 it seemed to hold up pretty well. But I think the commercially sprayed liner are much better.

Looks great when you first put it on but everyone I've ever known to use it has had problems with it chipping...especially Herculiner.

I've NEVER seen a bedliner that didn't end up looking like C-R-A-P. My friend used undercoating - that way whenever it gets messed up he just touches it up. Personally, I like the stock bed with dings and scratches a-plenty!

I've used herculiner my self. It will hold up just as well as any other liner. When some one complains about most of the time they didn't do thier prep work well enough. Appling liner is kinda like painting how the job turns out depends on the prep work. First don't be in a hurry. In the herc kit they supply a red pad to scrub the finish off of the area to be lined. I got one like it for my electric drill. That made it much easier and it did a better job in the long run. Use plenty of acetone to clean the area after this step. While appling the herc Iused a paint mixer attachment in my electric drill to mix the Herc. because the particles in the liner settle to the bottom of the can quickly. I mixed it every time prior to taking liner out of the can. Yes it is a very sloppy job. wear some type of disposable gloves and clothes you can throw out. A kit which is enough for about one coat of a pick up bed runs about $100.00 approx. You can put on 2 coats and still save about half of what a shop would charge for doing a lining job. But like I said the prep is the most important part and that includes a good masking job of what you don't want liner on.

OMG,
Without even opening that link, I think I know what it is

Did a DIY kit on my old truck. Wouldn't do it again. Prep sucked, went on thin, chipped/peeled away. Not worth it. Never again. As was said before looked good at first, turned to CRAP.

I used the Duraliner brand on the insides of my horsetrailer from about 4 foot and down. It's OK in there but I don't think I would do it to my truck.
