do you lie to your wife?

been chilly here, not cold enough to plug truck in, but with humidity/dewpoint/temp, it's a pain to get the windows defrosted.

so i been plugging it in, because if i open my door to see where i am back up, the horn blows at dark thirty. that's ignorant.

tranny had been acting up, but Dealer fixed it for free (said it was low on fluid - problem he has seen before - owner says it was full while back, but was not when taken to dealer)

anyways, with Tranny doing good now, i figured it was time.
so i dug the BullyDog out of the drawer, and went out there tonite, and set the BDDLPP on Performance.

came back in, wife asks 'what was you doing out there?'

a little white lie "i was plugging the truck in!?!"

Doesn't sound like a lie to me? That is what you did after all. You 24 valve guys don't know what its like to get your hands dirty for more power/performance!!

The heck I don't. I know that I give my mechanic a 12 pack of shiner bock and he gets his hands dirty while I consume his 12 pack.

I will not comment on the lie part......
to solve your window fog problem with backing up and door open at dark thirty, back in.

I NEVER lie to the BOSS..... however, on rare occasion, I may withhold selected information that I classify as "need-to-know", strictly for personal security's sake of course....

Me: No, honey, I'm just goin' down to the "flop and wiggle"
Wife: Okay, those boys make you spend too much money.

Well when I "was" married.........I fibbed quite a few times just to avoid the wrath of the devil!!! I would literally have to find some stupid excuse to do pretty much anything......or she would blow up on me and I'd be in the dog house...........and thus is why I am no longer married. Nobody controls me.......I do what I want when I want and I don't have to explain it to nobody but myself.
