My girl kinda does the same thing, why does it need more power, it's arleady fast, loud, ect. I'm like cause it helps my millage (the good excuse) but then I give her something to do to her car and she's happy

I never overload her with info. She gets mad if she knows.

If mine ever asks if I slept with another woman, I'll just respond, 'if I had I would of left you the next day".

 

I tried to BOMB my truck surreptitiously behind my wife's back.

Bought my EZ, guages, and injectors without her knowing.

Of course, she found out (as they *always* do) and needless to say was unimpressed.

Big fights. Not worth it.

I found I couldn't truly enjoy the BOMBs anyway doing it like this.

It's much better to have your wife on board, or at least AWARE, even if she doesn't understand or agree.

Doing it behind her back all cost, little benefit.

 

Nope never had to lie, or bend the truth. However recently she forbid me from doing anything else to our truck.......until I got a tranny for it. We refinanced the house, got the truck, the SRT-4, and our XB9R paid off. She let me "dip" into the remodel $ to get a tranny!! I'm a lucky one. My wife rules.

 

Won't let you break your tranny? Sounds like you got one of the few smart ones. My girlfriend has the "it's your money" attitude. Not quite as good but I'll take what I can get. However, she did by me my pda for the banks system. Now all I need to do is find a truck.

I have discovered that it is futile to lie to Mrs. Pistol .... I am way too transparent to her, she sees right through it as soon as it comes out of the crud eatin' grin I get whenever I try fibbin' .

fortunately, that is a gene that got passed to my sons as well ... the wife and I can spot it a mile away.
