Digital Cameras
i've got a sony digicam and it works great. other than buying a new battery, it has worked well... scored a brand new OEM battery for dirt cheap on ebay...
my next one will either be a sony or canon. in the 5 or bigger MP range

I waited till the 3 and 4 megapixel cameras starting showing up,
and got a 2.0 megapixel Canon S20 for pretty cheap.
All I wanted it for was pictures to post here and other internet places so 2 megapixel was just right.
And it fits in my pocket, another plus.
One of these days I want to get a digital SLR, but no way am I spending that much for a camera.
Give it 5 years or so.

I think I have decided on the Kodak, but may go with something like the 4550, due to the Boss being technologicaly(?) challenged and it has the simplest controls but still has the features she wants

Sony cybershot 5.o megapixel. The one from the aerosmith commercial. Sleek design. Expensive though, but small enough for the back pocket.

the wife bought a Kodak 5.5 (?) meg....maybe 5.0 not sure. I haven't gotten my beaters on it yet. She got a printer too......hmmmmm, maybe that $500 scope that I bought for the 270 was a mistake. now SHE'S spending money. That ain't fair
......she printed one out the other day and I could not tell it from regularly developed photos. I didn't even bother to ask how much the monthly bill is going to be for the paper. - JKE
EDIT: she got the printer and the camera on sale for $400. I guess that means she still has $100 to spend.

Chris - model #CX-7530, printer, paper, ink, case.....the whole deal. Cost was $400. Not sure if that was a sale or not. She bought one just before this and returned it and I may have one confused with the other about being on sale.
The pics turn out great.
Is this the model you got? - JKE
EDIT: I guess I can create my photo gallery now and add some truck pics.

Yeah, but I didnt get any of the extras just yet... I love her, but she has a problem with anything electronic, the stereotype " cant get the vcr to stop flashing" kind..
