OK, nobody here so what you see is what you get. Coffee, phoo and dew are here, dew is now on tap.

Quick question from last week. Who builds a garage that's too small for his toys?

Funny, Blake...

Mornin, DTR. Had a good time yesterday and last night. Got the Ball joints done in about 5-ish hours, then drank beer and ate good. I think that Chris might be staying longer than he thought if I keep feeding him...

First of all, it ain't a 'garage', it's a saw shed. Key word being 'SAW'. It houses the SAW, don't need to kill a million trees to build a garage just to keep the weather off of the saw head. <Dang city people!>

You'll forget it all by next weekend, who're you kidding?

Morning all. Nice title Rick, now NO ONE will be able to find the place!

Today is Sunday, September 6th.

On this day in 1620 - The Pilgrims left on the Mayflower from Plymouth, England to settle in the New World.

1819 - Thomas Blanchard patented a machine called the lathe.

1876 - The Southern Pacific rail line from Los Angeles to San Francisco was completed.

1888 - Joseph P. Kennedy Sr. was born. He owned the Chicago Merchandise Mart and made his fortune in real estate, liquor and movies. Subsequent Kennedy's have continued the tradition of making their living with liquor as well.

1899 - Carnation processed its first can of evaporated milk.

1901 - U.S. President William McKinley was shot and mortally wounded (he died eight days later) by Leon Czolgosz. Czolgosz, an American anarchist, was executed the following October.

1939 - South Africa declared war on Germany.

1941 - Jews in German-occupied areas were ordered to wear the Star of David with the word "Jew" inscribed. The order only applied to Jews over the age of 6.

1944 - During World War II, the British government relaxed blackout restrictions and suspended compulsory training for the Home Guard.

1959 - The first Barbie Doll was sold by Mattel Toy Corporation.

Have a good Sunday.

Morning all.

Nice one Rick, I can just imagine Chaikwa trying to back the mill in there!

Mark, you and Chris should be ashamed of yourselves. Never ever use antisieze when doing a job like that, it is supposed to sieze up solid for the next guy. Nice job both of you! Sure makes doing work like that more tolerable when you can joke around and have some suds at the same time.

changed the fuel filter on my daughters grand am. the "fuel" that poured out after I took it off looked like MUD. I added a can of sea foam and put in $20 worth of real fuel. the stuff that poured out of filter smelled like old fuel mixed with cheap whiskey....

Yeah, I saw the shed but it still doesn't explain why you built it so small! (Anybody else feel like they're watching a re-run of the werewolf scene in Young Frankenstein?)

And the best is yet to come. Better pick up a couple more filters.

Afternoon all. Mark, I like long cheaters too. I remember once helping my dad in the drive put ball joints on an big Chrysler. A ten foot cheater almost wasn't long enough. How many miles did you get on those?

Yea, Prolly...there was only about 1/8 of a tank when I changed the filter so maybe that was the worst of it...

If you get it that low again you might consider putting a long piece of fuel line on the filter housing and sticking it back in the tank to see what you can knock loose, then change it again. Make it work kinda like a parts cleaner, recycling the gas back into the tank.
