Good morning all y'all,
Happy Saturday to everyone. Scotty, you are correct, we are sending snow your way. It is going to play havoc with central and southern Alberta on its way to you, I will give you an update later today on how things are here.
I would love to say that today will be a productive day but I am pretty sure that won't be the case. Mother Nature is consipring to make this a couch day. We are under a snowfall warning for the second weekend in a row.
Our pup is a monster if he doesn't get exercise, I was lucky, there was just enough time after breakfast to take him for a romp in the hay fields before the snow got here. The first flakes fell as we got back to the house door. Now, visibility is down to about a 1/4 mile and the snow is falling like crazy.
Play safe everyone and have a happy Saturday.

YAHOOO - I finally figured out how to post pictures!!!

This morning there was no snow on the greenhouse or barn. Here is what we have now. It isn't a blizzard or anything but reports are that the roads are just a nightmare.

Still nice here.
Shorts what size is the little football you're looking at?

Looking far out into the crystal ball it looks like another nasty winter event is expected next Friday. Rain, freezing rain snow and high winds.

All my winter gear is in the truck. I'm hoping I'll not be doing this much more. Awaiting the next call when my old friend from school returns from (censored)

Hint...starts with A and ends with A both the continent and the country.

Well all y'all,
It would appear that it is time to shut down this week's breakroom. It is still snowing here in southern Alberta and looks to do so for the next 24 hrs. There are many wrecks, some with fatalities, on the highways. It is going to be a long few days for our first responders.

I have stoked the stove, fed and cuddled with the dragon, and setup the coffee and ph00 for the morning. There are fresh Timbits and cinnamon buns on the counter for breakfast. Enjoy, with compliments from stormy edge of the Canadian prairies.

Whoever is in here next, please start a breakroom with a sunny and warm theme

Have a wonderful Saturday night, play safe and wear proper PPE.

I'm here, at least for the moment. Work, and a crappy internet connection, has kept me away from here for a few days. We'll be changing hotels in a couple days so maybe (hopefully) it'll get better. The next job will be a fun one, 4 tank pull. There's suppose to be two 4000's, one 1000 and a 500. The 3 larger ones are all gasoline tanks. I hate to say it but those make me nervous, even with the dry ice.
