G'day all. It is early Sunday morning here and still busy on my first cup of hot stuff. Checked the break room, but all the liquids there appeared to be at some stage between liquid and semi rock, so passed. Even Bob's ph00 stank, err, I mean, did not look or smell very enticing. Made my own drink and will leave the cleaning of the 'coffee' pots to the janitor. That is, if he ever gets his lazy posterior in here and does his job. Sometimes I wonder why we even pay him.

Was not even going to check in here this morning, but an email popped up about prayers being required, so dropped everything and checked that first. Prayers sent as requested, more later.

While I was here, just did a quick read of the previous page and this one. Man, you guys can keep your winter!!!!! Have to fly thru Dallas in 2 weeks, so hope all the nasty stuff is gone by then. Had enough of that stuff and that is why I live where I do. At the moment it is a bit cooler than normal at home, but I still love it. Here is the forecast:

Yesterday was my birthday. Thanks to whomever in DTR sends the b'day cards. Yes, I was born on that sad day in history. My birth was so earthshaking that it started WW2. There, the truth is finally out as to the real reason WW2 started.

Later today am going to start sorting things out to see what I can do to lighten the load going home. It's amazing all the "stuff" I have accumulated in the just over 2 years that I have been here. On my last trip home took a lot of stuff, but somehow there is even more. Does "stuff" propagate when stored? Sure seems like it. Next weekend is my last weekend in this place. Very impatient to get out of here and re-start my life which has been on hold or pause ever since I arrived in China. In 2 weeks today will be back to wearing shorts every day. Ahhhhhhhhhhh!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Wonder if my truck will still remember me? It's been 4 months since it last turned over, but bet it will fire up just like normal.

Hope all of you who are in the midst of that cold, snow and assorted horrible stuff can emerge unscathed when the wind finally drops and the sun shines again. Cold, snow, wind hmmmmmmmm, three more bad 4 letter words

Time for a cup of real coffee. Where is the janitor?

That's kind of disturbing. If Sigmund Freud was here he would have you locked up.

Police said Bonnie Degenstein called police dispatch at 10:16 p.m. to report that she and the man had been drinking and playing with a gun, and that she accidentally shot him.
When police and medics arrived at the residence, in the 500 block of West 54th Avenue, they found a man who had been shot "multiple times,".
The man, who was not identified, was taken to a local hospital where he was pronounced dead, police said.
Police arrested the 27-year-old woman and charged her with second-degree murder in the shooting

I hope accuweather's forecast for tomorrow is better than today. They had us hitting 16, I got 9 now and that's as high as it's been. Supposed to be 18 tomorrow and back in the 30s and 40s mid-week.
