December is here

Hope everyone is doing better than I am. Minus teen temps froze up my sewer line. Wife got in a wreck and damaged her car. While waiting for parts, the brakes decided to start squealing. 2nd gen is in the shop for needed repair. Too many expenses on a limited income. Still have the wife's medical bills to pay.

Looking like a white Christmas for sure. Very cold, but not buried in snow like last year. Got the 2nd gen back, much better.

Under our 1st winter storm warning through Tuesday. This storm is expected to stay with us through Friday, so the warning could be extended. If it hit us head on, we are looking at feet, not inches of snow through the event. If it's more than 2 feet, I'll be stuck until someone can dig me out.

Winter has set in here in VT as well. First just below 0F night last night and a 3 inches of snow over 2 inches of ice left over from the last few snow storms after a 40F rainy day a few days ago.

Haven't fired up the old 1st gen plow truck yet, but that day is fast approaching.

Been +-10° for the last 2 weeks, bottomed out at -15°. Had to go out and unbury my sewer line because it froze up. Got frost bit feet for my trouble. Now its warmed up to 20° and the snow just started to fall. If we are luck, the bulk of it will pass to the west. Off to the doctor to see if I get to keep my toes.

December 2021 ends at midnight. I can securely say I will be glad to see it go, but I'll reserve judgment on 2022 until this time next year, I don't expect it to be any better. Almost everything that could go wrong, did, and my calendar is already booked up until April.
