Man, that thing is awesome. Not only is it great for the environment, it's also a blast to drive. I think electric is the way of the future, they already have electric hybrid locomotives, wander whats next...

Electric cars are also the way of the past. The first cars were electric. It's very simple to make an electric car go fast, much more difficult to make it go far. The biggest hurdle is battery technology and the related cost. The batteries of the future may be the lithium based ones in the video, or hydrogen. My guess is that hydrogen will never take off and lithium based batteries will win out.

Neato!
Im all for electric cars. Call me a tree hugger all you want.
I hope in the next few years, something like that will be up for sale at a dealership. Id buy it and it would be my daily driver around town. I'd still have the CTD...on biodiesel of course
How many of us REALLY NEED our diesels for the 5-10 mile trek to work? I live about a mile from home to work/school and every morning I feel just a bit dumb driving a 1-ton diesel that far in the morning. I have walked a few times but with the cold season here, thats out of the question.
My skinny, south Texas/Northern Mexico butt cant handle the cold...

Wow that thing is fast!!! Kinda neat really.....not that I would want to trade my truck for it though.
Did anybody see this "cordless drill on wheels" that does 0-60 in .97 seconds?
The guy has a pretty bad crash doing a burn out demonstration! It's like INSTANT power!

Good for him!! It's not for me though. I hate that the cars/trucks get blamed for alot of polution when it's the big factories that actually are the ozone killers. This is just my opinion. I have no facts to back up my statement. Give me the good 'ole American muscle cars with big blocks for the power.

Dang I didnt know they could go that fast. But the bad thing is the range and recharge time. You cant go on a roadtrip and plug in and in about 5 minutes your good for another 400-600 miles...
Thats the same guy/bike that was in the first vid. Said 0-60 in 2 sec. You wouldnt get me on that thing for nothin! Id be like him and crash, except Id probably be dead...
