Dallas Police Officer Resigns
One of those deals where you are right but you are also wrong because of the way you handle the situation. My opinion is there is blame enough for both the Officer and the guy he pulled over BUT the Officer is the one getting paid to use better Judgment.

Make sure the next time a crime is committed against you (i.e. someone robs you) just suck it up and don't even think of filing a report or dialing 911 because you don't need those guys sworn to serve and protect. Remember they'll still come save your butt even though you don't like them.

I know and have known many Leos and they do a job i never could and deserve respect. Yes I have met a Few Barney Fifes but they are few and far between.
You may have an axe to grind but i bet you caused it.

To all you LEOs thanks keep it up.

They show a track record of good or bad work ethics or practises that are designed to keep the regular citizen respecting the good LEO's and weeding out the, "the not so good ones". Every industry has it's fair share of bad apples, I would think that police officers are no exception. Am I wrong?
just my 0.2 cents

Whereas I support my LEO every chance I get. I do not agree with you that "other complaints mean squat"

You can look at my internal affairs history and see complaints I was never notified of. The civilian office of the police monitor can take a complaint, have it investigated and conclude there was no policy violation and it still shows up as a "complaint".
I work in a mostly minority sector, if 90%+ of my use of force reports have a minority as the recipient, in my sector, you can skew those numbers into me targeting minorities for force compared to the city average. Make sense?
