I'm not sure if that was a vodka-motorcycle sequence, or a "HELP-ME-I-JUST-GOT-HIT" sequence. Notice he stood right up when the pedestrian started across the intersection to help him?

About 9 seconds into the video the crane operator noticed he was past the point of no return and jumped out.. That would have been a long and bumpy ride to the bottom!

Gotta love the Russian people though!

When I was a bartender a bunch of Rusky Fishermen would come in to drink while their vessel was getting repaired...basically smoked Marlboros and drank wudka. They wanted to buy a couple bottles, but here in WA we can't serve but one drink at a time.

Being the ingenious character that I am, I poured two bottles of Monarch Vodka into a water pitcher and placed it on the table. I said "Here's some water, try it, it's good". No deal. Asked for a bottle. I say again, "Here, try the water, its really good".

An old salt gets the hint and pours a glassful, probably about 8 oz.! Takes a sip and then laughs and says something in Russian and starts to drink it, the others follow suit.

Anyway, I was the only bartender for them from then on. And, No, they did not drive to the bar, took taxi, so I made a judgement call on that one!!

Good folks, just not too good with crane....maybe wudka?!

There is no love between our Russian fishermen and the others.
Example, when longline fishing sometimes you will accidentally put your line over somebody elses.
When the person who was on bottom first pulls up and discovers another line over his, he simply cuts their line and reties the ends under his.
On many occasions the Russians would just cut the line and drop it meaning you might lose a thousand feet or more of equipment if you dont have a buoy on both ends.
We have seen them cut buoys off also.

Pretty sure that will buff out and they will be re-using both the crane and the dozer tomorrow.

I cut a bunch of elm firewood last Wednesday. Can't burn it, as I suspected, it's too wet, and half rotten. The ash isn't much better.
Went into a pasture and cut the rest of the remains of an elm we knocked over 2 years ago.

I keep it up, I might have enough wood for next winter cut and ready to burn.
