Trickle down economics don't work because the wealthy don't invest all of their money as aggressively as they could. You give the rich money and they stick in into "wealth preservation" mode, which doesn't circulate through the economy as fast as middle class dollars and creates a depression.

In a political discussion, a republican will say something like: "I don't agree with everything that Bush or even the party does and stands for, I just happen to agree with Most of what they do and say".
A Democrat will usually start by using insults, calling republicans "sheep" or "ignorant". I find the attitude of most every Democrat I encounter to be childish at best.
I have gotten to the point where I can almost tell before they speak. When I want to find a Democrat, I just look for the one grinning whenever bad news happens, because "They can't be blamed".
Personally I think that the Republican Party should make a 180 turn on a few issues:
1. Legalize all forms of abortion
2. Legalize all forms of assisted suicide
3. Legalize Gay marriage
The result:
In three generations all the Liberal Democrats will be dead.

Sure, Let's support the democrats that want to help the poor and un working, by taxing middle class more. This way the upper class can keep thier money and claim they're helping the poor.

1) Again I consider myself an indepent because I don't agree with either side fully.
2) I agree with being free to make choice's about my life including abortion. ( that would make me a democrat right) not.
3) I believe in stiff prison sentances and loss of right for criminal's. Why should I support them in jail. they should support themselves. Why should they be treated better and live better than our troops in Iraq?
4) I find it hard to believe the stanch Republicans and Democrats, won't budge on any issue.
Just my opinon and convictions. and I do have lot's more.

As for Condi being VP. I think she would do fine as VP.
As for president, I think she could handle the job; but, would not be an effective president.

one thing you can bet on is that i do not make 100,000 dollars a year. and guess what, i doubt i ever will. i have a wife at home, 3 great kids and i a good hourly job[non union]. and some how i have managed to vote republican in the last 4 or 5 elections. why because it is the right thing for me to do for my family. i can not support the democratic party anymore. i can not tell my kids that killing babys is fine. that homosexuality is natural. and that guns cause crime not criminals. that socialism is the right way.
the last democrate i vote for was pete gerrin, heck of a good guy but i am afraid the libs in washington would have ruined him by now.
and i find it hilarious that people still whine how the poor pay the majority of taxes, what a crock. i paid in 487 dollars last year and got 3100 back. i wish bush would put forward some more tax cuts. heck the rich just paid for my ski trip with the wife and kids to colorado. the differance is i apperciate it. i don't think i deserve it, but it is nice.

I would love a flat tax where everyone paid the same %.
