Well today I got so fed up with Norton that I took it right out of this computer and downloaded AVG ( the free one)...what a difference. Its like driving a sports car now instead of Norton taking up and hogging a lot of space....glad I came across this conversation....thanks guys...

Dumping Norton was the best thing you could have ever done.
Even if you had gone with any other anti virus besides AVG.
Norton is nothing but garbage. I tell everyone who has a Norton subscription that they need to just take the loss as a lesson learned, dump it and get something that actually works. I've cleaned viruses from too many machines that had an active Norton subscription.
One was so bad that we had to just reformat the drive and reload the OS. AVG would search for problems but after about 1000 infected files the machine would crash.

Download Thunderbird for your mail client.
It's part of the Mozilla group.
It doesn't sync calenders like outlook but to me it's a much better mail client. You can also get the "reminderfox" add on for scheduling appointments and such.
